Today’s Shot of Purple

My mom offered to send me a picture of the bruise on her leg post-op. She said it’s really purple! Thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers. She’s home from the hospital and promises to be good about doing her exercises and following doctor’s orders. I told her, in the interest of not making people sick, that we’d pass on the Project Spectrum bruise.

So here’s a purple definition for you from Wikipedia:

On a chromaticity diagram, When the straight line connecting the extreme spectral colors (red and violet), is known as the line of purples (or purple boundary); it represents one limit of human color perception. The color magenta used in the CMYK printing process is on the line of purples, but most people associate the term “purple” with a somewhat bluer shade. There is some common confusion between the color names purple and violet, but only purple can come in haze.
